Did you know there’s a “life-size” Yoda fountain tucked away in San Francisco’s Presidio? I didn’t either—until my kids checked out a Weird But True Star Wars book from the library, and suddenly we had to go.
Located just outside Lucasfilm’s San Francisco campus, the 2-foot-tall Yoda statue presides over a peaceful courtyard and is free to visit. While my kids were excited to see the fountain, they were completely blown away by the Star Wars and Lucasfilm memorabilia inside the Lucasfilm lobby.
Where is the Yoda Fountain and Where to Park

The Yoda Fountain is located at 1 Letterman Drive, San Francisco, CA 94129. The campus parking lot is gated and staffed by an attendant. On our visit, the attendant let us in and directed us to visitor parking, though I’m not sure if that’s always guaranteed. If you prefer, you can usually find street parking nearby on Lyon Street.
Lucasfilm Campus Memorabilia Collection (San Francisco)

The Yoda Fountain is a cute, quick stop for kids (or any Star Wars lover), but we ended up spending most of our time in the Lucasfilm lobby just behind it. My kids were amazed by the life-size R2-D2 replica and loved spotting their favorite characters and scenes among the displays.
The space itself is worth stepping wall-to-wall windows and an expansive sky light paired with dark wood bookshelves give the lobby an almost ethereal feel. My personal favorite piece? An Indiana Jones display that felt like stepping straight into the films.
