Oracle Park is one of my kids’ favorite places to go in San Francisco. Between the buzzing of the crowds and the roar of the fans, there’s nothing like watching how game day fills them with anticipation and excitement.
Whether you’re visiting for a Giants game or just exploring Mission Bay, here are 7 must-do activities with kids at Oracle Park – plus a bonus surprise your little ones will love.
1. Check Out the Statues Outside the Park

All Ages
Start your adventure with a stroll around the outside of Oracle Park. You’ll find several impressive statues of Giants legends like Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, and Juan Marichal. These larger-than-life monuments are perfect photo ops and great conversation starters about baseball history. See if you can spot the Crawford Family brick along Willie Mays Plaza!
Kid Tip: Turn it into a “statue scavenger hunt.” How many can your kids find?
2. Slide Down the Coca-Cola Bottle

Ages 3–14
Inside the park, head behind left field to the giant Coca-Cola bottle—it’s more than just a landmark! It houses two super-fun slides that kids can zip down while you enjoy a great view of the field.
Caution: It can take a minute to walk from the top of the slide to the bottom. If you’ve got a younger child, consider having another adult wait for them at the bottom.
3. Hit a Homer at the Toyota Fan Lot

Under 42” Tall
Right next to the Coca-Cola slide is a mini baseball diamond where little sluggers can take a swing at a wiffle ball. It’s perfect for kids who want to feel like real players in a real stadium.
Note: Kids must be under 42” tall to participate.
4. Test Your Arm at the Pitching Clock

All Ages (and Grown-Ups Too!)
Think you’ve got a fastball? Head to the pitching cage under the bleachers near Section 140. Both kids and adults can test their throwing speed and see how they measure up.
5. Hop Aboard the Trolley Car

All Ages
Climb aboard a retired San Francisco trolley car near Levi’s Landing inside the park. It’s a fun, safe space for younger kids to play and imagine they’re touring the city – all while watching the game!
6. Get in the Game at the Video Arcade

Best for Ages 8+
Older kids and teens love the video arcade tucked into the Promenade Level. We personally have never used the arcade, but we have friends who really enjoy playing Skee-Ball there. It’s a great spot to cool off, take a break from the sun, and get a little competitive.
7. Say Hello to the Fish Tank

A Toddler Favorite
Yes, there’s a real aquarium at Oracle Park! Behind the mini ballpark near the Coca-Cola slide, you’ll find a small fish tank built into the right field wall. It’s a mesmerizing little gem most fans don’t expect – and toddlers love it.
Parent Tip: This was my go-to spot when my kids were little – it kept them entertained long enough for me to catch my breath.
Bonus: Meet Lou Seal, the Giants’ Lovable Mascot!

If you’re lucky, you’ll run into Lou Seal, the Giants’ fun-loving mascot. He’s always dancing, high-fiving, and posing for photos.
Where to Find Him: Keep an eye out on the main concourse before and during the game. He’s known to hang out with kids and stir up some laughs!
Final Tips for a Great Visit

- Arrive Early to explore the kid zones before they get crowded.
- Pack Sunscreen, Hats, and Layers. Many play areas are in direct sun, but fog and wind can roll in quickly. A light jacket is always a good idea.
- Check the Giants’ Website for special promotions like Kids Run the Bases days or themed giveaway games.
Upcoming Special Events:

- August 29, 2025: Pokémon Go Drone Show
- September 12, 2025: Fan Appreciation Night + Fireworks
Oracle Park for Parents
Stroller Parking
Strollers are welcome, but they’re tough to maneuver in the stands. Free stroller check is available at Guest Services.
Nursing Moms
Last spring, I used Oracle Park’s lactation room for the first time—it’s on the Club Level and includes a recliner facing a live feed of the game and a changing table. It’s a calm, private place to nurse an easily distracted baby.
There’s also a portable lactation pod near Marina Gate, though I haven’t used it personally.
Enjoy Your Trip to the Ballpark!
Oracle Park offers more than just a ballgame – it’s a full family experience packed with fun, learning, and unexpected delights. From statues to slides, tee ball to trolleys, there’s something around every corner to keep your kids entertained and excited.
And really—where else can you find a fish tank in a baseball stadium?
